BBBC Day 3

The BBBC topic for today is:

You've been given a sim of your very own to use for free for one year. However, there are 3 rules. It cannot be residential, it cannot be commercial, and it has to be open to the public. What do you do with it ?

I thought quite a bit about this and I read a few posts by others. We all seem to want to add beauty of some kind to our virtual world, and that was my first thought too. But, after some consideration, I decided that my beauty could also be functional. I'd make a Help Center for new folks.

The theme would be survival and the landscape would be forest with lots of places to explore. There would be a vintage train that people could ride and exit as they wished and the depots would have tutorials on things people need to know when new. There would also be a classroom area in the center with meet and greet type spaces tucked here and there.

This wouldn't be a school to teach building techniques, but more of a day to day what I need to know. Everything from opening a box to adjusting prim eyelashes to adding a new pose to your AO. Most of us learn things over time and we forget how difficult it can be simply to be new.

Ahhhh, Chic, the practical one. Good for EVERYONE in "Phil's Place."

And, yes, the lack of learning opportunities is like a vacuum since all the schools and classes went away.
